Name: The Hedgehog
Description: Big plush hedgehog with hoggie sounds.
Cost/Location: $6.99 at Super Stop & Shop
Thrill: 9 - Bergamot has a thing for hedgehogs! Nice fat body and legs have great bite-a-bility. Unique hoggie sounds, too.
Beast review: "I prefer the small hedgehog. I did enjoy the sounds."

Durability: 3 - Legs were easily removed allowing access to the coveted stuffing.
Lifespan: The Beasts had the squeeker in 20 minutes.
Cost vs. Durability 5 - The expense was high because it was a bigger hedgehog with a noise-maker. It didn't last long, but the Beasts were satisfied and tired after they were done.
Safety: 1 - Needs 100% supervision. Hoggie noises created by plastic tube connected to plastic wrapped foam. Never leave your Boston alone with this toy.
Boston Proof? No.
Name: Chickie Doll
Description: Large Stuffed Chick
Cost/Location: $7.99 at Super Stop & Shop
Thrill: 4 - Nice and soft to bite.
Beast review: "No feathers..."

Durability: 5 - He was de-stuffed though the beak.
Lifespan: 1 hour. The beak was removed in 10 minutes. Stuffing was removed though the beak, but not all of it and not the squeaker. Fair play continued for another 50 minutes, until the body was torn and the sqeaker was removed.
Cost vs. Durability 7 - Pretty durable for a plush toy. Not a lot of parts to rip off.
Safety: 5 - Needs supervision. Contains squeeker.
Boston Proof? No.
Name: Piggie
Description: Fuzzy pink pig with an oinking noise-maker.
Cost/Location: $5.99 at Pet Foods Plus
Thrill: 10 - Oink-maker made the Beasts wild. The body was extra fuzzy.
Beast review: "Parting is such sweet sorrow..."
-Bergamot Fury
Durability: 2 - Arms, legs and ears all removed. Noise-maker removed in 8 minutes.
Lifespan: 8 minutes.
Cost vs. Durability 5 - a good price for a toy with a noise-maker. The Beast's expressions were worth it.
Safety: 1 - Needs 100% supervision. Contains plastic and metal noisemaker. Never leave your Boston alone with this toy.

Name: Hippo
Description: Velvety yellow hippo
Cost/Location: $4.99 at Pet Foods Plus
Thrill: 4 - The beasts went straight for the string tail.
Beast review: "This toy was for babies."

Durability: 4 - Poor hippo lost his head in a tug of war and his string tail was removed immediately.All that was left was his chubby "U" shaped body.
Lifespan: 8 minutes.
Cost vs. Durability 4 - Not enough thrill to offset price.
Safety: 5 - Needs supervision. Contains squeeker.
Boston Proof? No.
Name: Pink Poodle
Description: Debutante of the Non-Sporting group
Cost/Location: $2.99 at Old Navy
Thrill: 10 - Decades of show ring frustration were taken out on this fluffy, pink effigy.
Beast review: "It was so fluffy - was it cotton candy?"
-Bergamot Fury
Durability: 1 - Ears removed simultaneously in a tug of war. Tennis ball was removed from the inside in less than 5 minutes.
Lifespan: 5 minutes.
Cost vs. Durability Well worth the price for the visual stimulation.
Safety: 9 - No squeeker or hard parts. All felt, stuffing and tennis ball.
Boston Proof? No.
